RV inspectors Judy and Shannon Pitchford are the owner-operators. This husband-and-wife duo spent a combined 48+ years in the Marines before retiring to the RV lifestyle. Now, they’re available to help their fellow RVers throughout the country!

As the “lady” in Lady and the Wrench, Judy will carefully inspect your RV. Her certifications include:

Shannon is the “wrench” in Lady and the Wrench, and he will troubleshoot and repair anything necessary. His certifications include:
- NRVIA Level 2 Certified RV Technician
- NRVIA Level 1 Certified RV Inspector
- Adheres to all NRVIA Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics
Judy & Shannon’s
Background
As retired US Marines, it is in their work ethic to do a job with precision the first time. They have great attention to detail as RV inspectors that will serve you well!
Shannon was an amphibious vehicle diesel repairman early in his career, so he knows how to troubleshoot and fix just about anything. In his second career, he was responsible for creating sustainable operations for the Marines he served. Shannon served in the Marines for 28 years on active duty. He then worked for the Marines for an additional 10 years.
Judy was responsible for maintaining military equipment in serviceable condition and keeping accountability for that same equipment. In her second career as a nonprofit organization executive, she took a small, stagnant organization and turned it into an operation providing programs and services statewide. Judy served in the Marines for 20 years.
How Did They
Transition to RVing
When Judy and Shannon retired, they decided to buy an RV and go on a three-month trip. That soon turned into a full-time lifestyle, and they wanted to help others realize their RV dreams too. They really love the challenge of their new career, especially having the opportunity to educate people and save them from the mistakes they made early on.
Leisure Time
Having been to over 50 foreign countries, Judy and Shannon have a deep desire to now explore as much of America as possible with their dog, Duke. They also enjoy volunteering for just about any worthy cause.
